About Us
Our Mission, Vision & History
It is the Mission of the Living Water Christian Center DFW to effectively minister the Word of God to the masses and to the people of God through teaching, preaching, and outreach. We believe that we are called to address the needs of the total person, as our Savior did, and strive to lift up the name of Jesus in our church, community, and the world in which we live, through our commitment to worship, praise, evangelism, stewardship, and economic development.
Our Vision
The vision of Living Water Christian DFW is to acquire a sanctuary that will seat 1000 parishioners. This facility will be equipped with a conference room, classrooms, playground, administrative offices, and a fellowship hall.
The focus of our vision is to provide a spiritual environment for worshippers to have and enjoy an incredible worship experience with their God. Also, our goal is to provide an environment that will cultivate parishioners through the teaching and preaching of God's Word, music, and exuberant praise.
It is our vision to provide outreach ministries that will benefit the city of Garland and its neighboring communities. We endeavor to extend our outreach ministries to nursing homes, local jails, food pantries, orphanage homes, and other non-profit charities.
Our vision will also support the after-school ministry by providing a computer lab for computer literacy training and homework assistance.
It is our vision to provide spiritual counseling guidance to all who have succumbed to addictions, marital issues, family crises, financial turmoil, personality conflicts, low self-esteem, and any matter that has seemly entrapped the human will.
Our History
Our church was birthed into the spirit of our pastor, Anthony R. Walker, in September 2013, but was not acted upon until February 1, 2015. Pastor Walker has worked diligently to establish this church. Pastor Walker started at the community recreation center for the first year and was directed by God to seek out another place for the ministry.
In October 2016, our ministry relocated to its current location, where the Spirit of God has met us on numerous occasions, confirming the calling of this man of God. Pastor Walker is passionate about reaching people through the love of God. He sees the Lord in all aspects of life and conveys his deep faith through sermons, classes, and actions.
Pastor Walker holds Bible Class every week, which is open to the public. Join us to discover the whole meaning of the Lord's words and how they can change and enrich your life.
